Interlaced scan can show some visual flaws in appearance when the picture is still or in a slow motion. Typically, most high definition TV programs are aired in 1080i while DVD and Blu-Ray use 1080p.

Many of our relatives preferred LCD TV as this consumes little energy and produces minimal amount of heat. I agree that this is lighter and thinner compared to other flat screen TVs.

Hey! It's time to change to a new plasma TV. It rocks! It's true that it's a little bit costly than other flat screen TVs but the picture quality is way brighter and crispier than others do.
